REDTAIL TELEMATICS launches sponsorship of Charlie Butler-Henderson for MINI CHALLENGE 2017

Cambridge, UK (April 2017)

Redtail Telematics sponsors Charlie Butler-Henderson for Mini Challenge 2017, The Mini Challenge has been THE championship for the new Mini Cooper in the UK since 2002 and has always enjoyed great grids, colourful cars and close racing.

Dr Colin Smithers, Redtail CEO:  ‘Clearly, safe and efficient driving is a fundamental objective of telematics.  What better way to further scrutinise and support that intent than by working closely with Charlie, who has a professional’s view on how to conduct his vehicle in precisely that manner?’  Charlie had this to say; ‘I am delighted that Redtail Telematics is joining us this season.  As a race team, we of course use telemetry for performance monitoring, and it is appropriate that a company with Redtail’s legacy and indeed future in telematics can be part of our continued journey.’

Colin again; ‘We will make best use of our proprietary technologies in sensors and signals to look at the sorts of data that the race environment can deliver, which may also prove instructive in some of our advanced scoring modules advising drivers on safe cornering technique, for example.  And it should be fun! ‘
